I'm actually kind of excited about the really random "The Music of DC Comics" CD that they're putting out.

A lot of those are songs I've heard; but a lot of them I haven't. And regardless, most of them are tunes I've wanted to listen to at one point or another. But you can't really do that when you only have them in videos.

I'm one of those people who likes to have background music for a lot of things. Reading my comics is one of them. Usually I have to just select music from my collection that I think feels appropriate at any given time. But soon enough my music will really fit.

Been super busy, I'd love to tell you all about it--but until it's actually released, I'm keping things on the down low. Suffice to say, I've just officially become a paid freelance author! My whole life I've dreamed of doing this for a living--and today I've taken my first, infinitesimally small step toward that goal. GO ME!


Anyhoo, I've opened up SOHB to my friends at Topless Robot. Apparently we were taking up far too much space chatting on their board.

So I invited them to take up space here!

To all of my readers who weren't linked here through TR(both of you), don't be afraid. They're just nerds, they don't bite(unless, of course, Abraxas shows up--in which case, throw him some dead rats, and for God's sake: don't look him directly in the eye!)

what was Miley Cyrus' biggest mistake?

Allowing herself to be a victim to science.

She grew up.

And no one likes it.

So this mother of a 5-year-old is stepping forward to hand Miley a tissue. And an apology.

On behalf of every mother out there who shudders at your name, I say turn 18 in peace this year. And keep making movies like The Last Song. They let you be yourself.

A teenager trying to figure out who she is. A girl past puberty who has, gasp, started to identify herself as a sexual being.

I had no classes last Friday. As such, I thought last Thursday was Friday. The result?

I missed the Thursday Night Thinking.

Sources are reporting that Miley Cyrus is really upset about her split with boyfriend Liam Hemsworth:

Miley is devastated. She really thought Liam was ‘The One’. Although she did put her career ahead of they’re relationship, she made it clear to Liam he wouldn’t always come second. She’s hoping they’ll be able to sort things out.

Our eyes play tricks on us.

This young lady looks almost provocative with her tailored jacket and long, summer legs. However, under that jacket, she was wearing the same jean shorts that all the other young ladies are wearing this time of year. From the front she would seem unremarkable, but from the back it's a whole different story.
