The 2010 FIFA World Cup as we all know, has had an immense impact on various aspects both national and international, which is a good thing right?
Taking that into account, one of the industries it has influenced is Fashion, which is a fast growing market in our country. Many designers have grabbed the opportunity to use this international sporting event as an inspiration for their creations and collections.
Good or Bad?
I don’t want to sound pessimistic and all, but what happens to these green and gold garments after the world cup? (Not a good choice of color don’t you think)? Could world-sporting events inspired garments be the next best trend or a fashion disaster?
Personally, I hated the idea from the beginning!!! What is your take on this?
