It's Thursday Night Thinking and the Strange Adventures continue!
There's another one of those convertibles...

As well as being a talented stand-up, he was also a frequent Howard Strern Show guest, a cast member of Lewis Black's brilliant, yet unappreciated Root of All Evil, a regular on the Comedy Central Celebrity Roasts, and a judge on Last Comic Standing.
As a huge stand-up fan, I'd been following Mr. Giraldo's career for the last few years. He wasn't the type who was likely to branch out into sitcoms and feature films, but as far as I'm concerned, that just means that his art remained pure and sharp(if you ever saw Bob Saget or Roseanne do stand-up before they got tv shows, then you know what I'm talking about).
Celebrity or not, he was a talented writer and performer, and he has left us far too soon.
Here he is doing what he did best at the recent Comedy Central Roast of David Hasselhoff:
He will be greatly missed.

Namaste, readers!
FROM YAHOO! SPORTS:
India will use monkey security force for Commonwealth Games
"When the international sporting event begins next week in New Delhi, organizers will deploy 38 trained langur monkeys to patrol the grounds in an attempt to scare away smaller, stray primates that can roam the streets of Delhi."
"The langurs, which are giant, gray monkeys with black faces, will be on a leash and accompanied by a trainer. They'll be positioned outside various venues and tasked with keeping wild monkeys from causing havoc in and around the Games."
India moves another step closer to wresting the International WTF Cup away from Japan.
Personally, I love the fact they're using the monkeys to protect visitors from other monkeys (how long before they come to their senses, team up with the rogue monkeys, and stage a coup d'etat?)
And since I'm a boorish American smartass who likes to poke fun at foreign countries, I've enlisted the aid of cheezburger.com and created a salute to New Delhi's innovative security procedures:
Coming to NBC this fall: NDPD Grey

The take away from this show? Steal your Dad's clothes, all your dad's clothes.
His shirts, his jeans, his sportcoats are all fair game now.
The great thing about this show and this look is that you don't have to wait till next Spring to dress like this. Layering oversized shirts, knits and sportcoats in Fall weights and textures can be a new and super cheap way to update your wardrobe.
