What up!

I guess you noticed the new masthead--that's a VW E-Scooter, and I want one desperately...Unfortunately, they're only planning on selling them in China.

When I decided I needed a new masthead pic, something a little smaller and more subtle, I simply typed "Scoot" into a Google Images search--and picked my favorite pic. But I'm not sold on the E-Scooter as the unofficial symbol of TTOS: That's where you peoples come in!

Send me your ideas for our new masthead, just put the URL of your favorite pic or pics in the comments--links don't work, but I can copy/paste. Anything non-pornographic will be duly considered.

Oh, and as you may have noticed from the new sidebar gadget, I is on Facebook now!

I swore I wouldn'tfor a long time, but I need to network if I ever expect to have a real writing career. Ran into a LOT of old, old friends (like new TTOS contributor Debbie Mnemonic). Most notably, I found practically every member of my old RHPS cast, and a lovely picture to share with you folks:

Look near the top of the picture, go to nearly dead center...See the floating head hiding in there right between the pretty blonde girl (Ginger) and the dude with the black eye? (Tony) That head, and it's inexplicable thousand-yard stare, belongs to approximately16 year old me. Why I'm staring like that I have no idea, but given the time in my life this was taken, and the location it was taken at, there's a signifigant chance I was stoned out of my gourd.

Here's a closer look, in case anyone's having trouble picking me out:

Anyway, that's Mundelein, Illinois' Completely Crazy Cast: Some of the best friends a whackjob like me could ever have, and fellow travelers on what was the greatest adventure of my life.

Love you guys!

Go on! Click it! You know you wanna!

I won't take much of your time:

The Meditation Chamber (which, somewhat depressingly, is the most viewed page on this blog) has been overhauled--lost of old stuff was taken out, and some new, more in the spirit of the overall site material was added. Give it a look if you care to. XD

Oh, and I HAD to throw this out there...I'm not gonna comment on it, but I highly encourage you folks to point at it and laugh: http://www.music-juice.com/celebrity-news/megan-fox-is-the-sexiest-nerd-alive.html

They keep using that word; I do not think it means what they think it means...

Just Scoot

Ugh,

Have had about an hour's sleep, and my roomie's bro screaming bloody murder (whether pissed off or ecstatic--doesn't seem to make a difference) while he plays Call of Duty: Black Ops Online DOES NOT FUCKING HELP!!

So I did a little cleaning up and re-decorating here...let me know what you think (go ahead and offer suggestions, too)

Oh, and the new pics that don't quite fit in thsidebars? They'll be taken care of soon as Blogger gets off its lazy ass and fixes a glitch that's keeping me from resizing the pics.

Later!

(STOP FUCKING SCREAMING!!!)

Springtime For Scooter

Good Evening Viewers,

As a "Responsible Online Journalist" I felt it important that I share this new development with my readers:

Below you will notice a rather hyperbolic post concerning a 3 year old vid that I declared: THE SCARIEST THING I'VE EVER SEEN ON THE INTERNET.

It is possible, my friends, that this assessment was somewhat overstated:

This is she.

She's Norwegian and goes by the name "Ircha Fairyrock" (which sounds like a pop star from Middle Earth, but I'm not judging! :D)

She's signifigantly less terrifying when she's NOT dancing like a psychotic marionette to Billy Joel...I'm folowing her on Twitter now--even sent her a link to the aforementioned post of her video. Maybe she'll pay us a visit sometime: She seems like a very cool person.XD

More pictures and info here: http://vampirefreaks.com/Ircha?r=299681

We now return you to your regularly scheduled online activities, and leave you with one more shot of Ircha, pre-blonde this time:

A Less Scared Scoot

Hey!

Results are in, and StrawHat's Honorable Mention from the Quibbler Headline Contest has come from behind to win Dr. Smashy's (George's) coveted second TR shirt. There was a total of 19 votes, and I apologize if anyone had trouble seeing the poll--Blogger's got cyber-cooties or some shit.

Roland of the Tower started off strong with: PERVERTS HOLD VIGIL AS HERMIONE GRANGER'S 18TH BIRTHDAY DRAWS NEAR. He lead the pack for several days only to be overtaken by a single vote after topping off at 7.

Green Lambkin's DUMBLEDORE'S DUMBLEWHORES came in 3rd with a total of 4 votes, and finally, StrawHat took home the prize when his DUMBLEDORE AND GANDALF MEET FOR THE FIRST TIME, REALIZE THEY'RE THE SAME PERSON, PROCEED TO MAKE OUT scored 8 votes.

So, Good work, StrawHat!

I'm afraid I don't know you personally, but come by anytime and join our community of merry wackjobs.

In honor of this occasion (and as a pitifully flimsy pretense to post more images of awesome boobage), here's a selection of Genderswap'd Harry Potter Cosplay Pics...Like this one:

This one's adorable--but the more..."ample" ones are after the jump (just thought you folks deserved the option--perhaps not all my readers are as keen on HP cosplay cleavage as I am)

Ta,

He Who Must Not Be Scoot

I started reading this series in 1993

Hello My Children. Right now your Den Mother is watching a really friggin bad movie, the Clan of the Cave Bear. Why? You ask. Or maybe not asking, cuz you don't actually give a flying fuck. Well because on March 29th, of this year the last book of Jean M. Auel's Earth Children series, one she began the year I WAS BORN, will coming to all book stores. Well obviously I didn't start reading this series when it first came out, being an infant and all. But I did see this movie back in the 80's and I read the first book, the aforementioned Clan of the Cave Bear, when I was thirteen. And the next three books quickly thereafter. Now the 4th book came out in 1991. The fifth didn't come out until friggin 2002. So yeah, I waited about 8 years for the fifth book and yet ANOTHER 9 years for the sixth book.

Good Goddess. The only other thing I ever waited this long for were the bloody Star Wars Prequels. Thankfully, the fifth book was worth the wait and I'm gonna assume that the sixth book will also be worth the wait. So when March comes along, I'll finally learn how the adventures of Ayla, the prehistoric chick who apparently invented EVERYTHING, ends. I would tell you more about the series, but you can google it. I need to go to the library and take out these books. Good day, and enjoy the football game if you are planning on watching it!

Happy Sunday, I have to go quest for fire now.

This book and me...We are the SAME DAMN AGE!

PS Hey James, why isn't there a "books" label?

(That better, dear? --EDITOR)

Ahoy-hoy!

Sorry, It's been a couple days, I know!

I've been neglecting my duties as Blog Czar these past few days. Been doing most of my chatting at Google--more private. And I've been trying to write a new TR List, finally finished at about six this morning. Point being, I didn't feel quite right penning articles here while actual paid work was being ignored.

But I'm here now, ready to resume my post--how has my realm been faring? Good?

I'm relatively neato (as Carlin would say). Saw Inception finally--loved it. Roomies bought Dead Rising 2--haven't played it yet, but any game where you get to bludgeon zombies with a wheelchair already has my vote on principle.

Oh, and in case you haven't noticed--the Amazon ads have been removed. Nothing against Amazon.com itself, but the way it works is I post advertisements for various items, and receive a commission every time someone clicks the link. In the 8 months since I started this mess, not ONE of you people has bought a single damned thing.

I'm not gettting down on you, folks--times are tight, I dig that. But if no one's gonna make use of the advertisements, then it becomes nothing more than me giving Amazon (and whatever items I feature) free publicity. Not to mention wasting space on what is already a terribly cluttered blog.

Anywhat, today I present a delightful piece inspired by my recently completed Daily List, it's a wonderfully meaningless, superficial dollop of digital marshmallow fluff:

PRETTY GIRLS AND RAMEN NOODLES!

I won't waste your time--Just go look.
